The Company was founded in 1966 by late Sauro Spadoni, passed away in 1975, as liner agents to represent Concordia Line - Haugesund (Norway) for their conventional and containerized services to/from U.S.E.C., Middle East, Persian Gulf. In 1975 the company was took over by Sauro Spadoni’s son Giovanni (Mechanical Engineer), President and Managing Director ever since.

From 1979 to 1984 a partnership was created between S.Spadoni S.R.L. and Dani & C. - Genoa for the representation of Medafrica S.P.A. for their lines to Nigeria and West Africa.


From 1980 to 1992 Sauro Spadoni S.R.L. became minority partner and Giovanni Spadoni Managing Director of Livorno office, Operation Director for all Italian Ports of the Shipping Agency managing the Compania Trasatlantica Espanola full containers and multi-purpose lines to U.S.A., Central America, South America Pacific Coast, Tunisia. Majority Partners of the Shipping Agency were the same Shipowners, Compania Trasatlantica Espanola - Madrid, controlled by INI (Spanish Government Instituto National de Industria).
The Shipping Agency entered into liquidation in 1992 when INI Group decided the privatization of Compania Trasatlantica Espanola.

In the same period starts the cooperation with Intermare S.p.A. Genoa, brokers & Heavy Lifts operators specialized in project cargo handling, for whom S.Spadoni S.R.L. are operating as exclusive sub-agents.

From 1993 to 1998 the Company represented Baltic Shipping Co. St.Petersburg and Sambalt S.A. Buenos Aires, for their container, RO/RO, general cargo line from Mediterranean to Atlantic Coast of Sud-America.

On June 2000 it has been established an operational partnership with Maurizio Tozzi, 15 years lasting experience in RO/RO Mediterranean Lines representation (Fast Line - Dem Line - Rhein Maas - Naviera Medimar) and N.V.O.C.C. operating.

Taking profit of different experiences in the shipping it has been re-created a team of strongly motivated, well experienced and marketing oriented managers ready to overcome the 2000s challenge.
